For an independent consultant, Hourcove tracks time per client and project with a timer or a weekly grid, turns unbilled billable time and expenses into an invoice with a PDF and an online link, and shows what each engagement earned. The Solo plan is $15 a month for one person, with a 14-day free trial.
What it does for one person
- One timer that keeps running if you close the tab or switch devices.
- Expenses with a photo or PDF of the receipt, billable or not.
- Time on an invoice is marked billed, so it can't be invoiced twice.
- Export everything as JSON or CSV, even after a plan ends.
Getting paid
Record bank transfers and other payments by hand and Hourcove marks the invoice paid. Card payment from the invoice link is built and not switched on yet.
